Are you passionate about nurturing young children and fostering a love for learning?
Are you looking for a job that is never boring and always worthwhile?
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people to join our Teaching Assistant team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and is committed to making a real difference in their educational journey.
At our school, we believe in nurturing all children to reach beyond the expected. We work as a whole community to support needs, challenge minds and ensure academic progress.
Our Teaching Assistants all work as part of a year group team to support the children in many different ways:
Whole class support: Working alongside a teacher in lessons to support learning, sometimes with a group, other times with the main body of the class. With the youngest children, this may be in play-based learning outside the classroom.
Group support: Working independently with a group of children. This may be running a phonics session to support early reading, or working with a group of children in a social skills or nurture group. All training provided.
Individual support: All our children are wonderful, and some have additional needs. Teaching Assistants work as a team to meet the diverse special needs of the children in the class, sometimes on a one-to-one basis.
If you are a nurturing individual with a genuine desire to inspire and support young children, we would love to hear from you! We particularly welcome applications from candidates with some experience of being around children with diverse learning needs. Your empathy, patience, and ability to adapt will be highly valued.
Join our team and help us create a stimulating and joyful learning environment for all our children.
Battle and Langton is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
